This is a voluntary agreement for employers who are positive about mental health and is aimed at increasing awareness of mental health in the workplace. 

Rachelle Russell, Chief Operating Officer, signed the Charter for MacIntyre Academies and you will see copies appearing in your school shortly.  Rachelle said:

“Following staff feedback from the Employee Engagement Survey we have been working on improving employee wellbeing across the Trust.  We have signed up to the charter for employers who are positive about mental health to demonstrate our ongoing commitment to recruitment and retention of employees who are experiencing or may have experienced mental ill health.”
