“Engage in Their Future” Nominations for Quest Academy Young People

Congratulations to a group of learners from Quest Academy who were nominated by their teachers for the “Engage in Their Future” Awards 2021!

We’re really proud of all the young people and special mention to Adam who won the national KS4 Photograph of the year earlier in the year and Louis who has recently been successfully shortlisted in the category for Outstanding Personal Progress and will attend the Awards ceremony in Manchester in November.

Quest’s Principal Nicola Wells had encouraged teaching staff and learners to submit nominations for the awards last term knowing that there were many success stories of incredible progress achieved by young people during their time at Quest. When she read the quality of applications she was very proud of all the nominations and said “The reason why I wanted us to be part of this competition was to provide learners the same experience of other young children who attend graduations and receive national recognition. I hope others will be inspired, encouraged and motivated to do the same as a result of these young people’s examples!”

Group Director Kevin Rodger also commented “It was the highlight of my week to hear that one of our students at Quest Academy had reached the final of the “Engage in Their Future” Awards for Outstanding Personal Progress. An amazing achievement whatever the final result. Thank you and congratulations to everyone involved.”
